PTHS Prom 2025: News and Forms

This year’s Junior/Senior Prom will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 7 -10:00 p.m., at the Omni William Penn in Pittsburgh. Check-in will begin at 6:30 p.m. The cost of a single ticket is $115.00 or $230.00 per couple. Dinner will be provided at the event as part of the ticket price (see meal selection form for details and options.) Prom Tickets will be on sale from Monday, April 28th – Friday, May 2nd during all lunch periods. Please make sure to read all the forms carefully and bring the required paperwork and payment when buying tickets.

National Honor Society Induction

Congratulations to the 71 students who were inducted into the National Honor Society on March 25th at the High School. Students are inducted into the NHS based on qualifications in the areas of Character, Scholarship, Leadership and Service.

PTHS Named to AP Honor Roll as Platinum Member

Peters Township High School has been named to the 2024 AP School Honor Roll as a Platinum member! PTHS earned this distinction by expanding the school's college culture by enabling 81% of the Class of 2025 to experience at least one AP course before graduating, assisting with college affordability with 63% of the Class of 2025 earning college credit with an AP Exam score of 3, and optimizing our students’ college readiness by creating opportunities for 30% of the senior class to take a total of 5 APs across their high school years, with at least one taken in 9th or 10th grade.

Join us as we celebrate our PT Veterans! PTHS has created a Veterans Wall of Honor to recognize Peters Township alumni who have served in the U.S. Military. Please visit the online form to provide the necessary information to be included in this special display in the lobby of the new High School.

School Closing and Delay Communications

With the arrival of winter weather, we wanted to remind parents of the procedures and schedules the District will follow in the event of a closing or delay of school. Please read the procedures carefully as the availability of Flexible Instruction Days for remote learning has expanded the instructional opportunities available to our students on inclement weather days.
