High School

The Peters Township High School is located at 264 East McMurray Road. The school was built in 1969 and renovated in 1981. A second 16 month $24 million renovation was completed in January 2001. The school serves 1496 students in Grades 9-12. There are 100 teachers on staff and one building principal and two assistant principals.

Student Safety

In an effort to assist in providing a safe environment, students must acknowledge a reduced expectation of privacy. Random, unannounced inspections or sweeps of the school property may be performed to aid in enforcing school policy and providing a deterrent to unwanted items, substances, or activity. Inspections or sweeps of school property, lockers, or vehicles may result in reasonable suspicion that prompts a search.

AP Exam Registration

Registration will begin on Wednesday, March 2nd and run through Wednesday, March 23rd.

To register, a check payable to Peters Township School District for $13.00, per test taken, is required to order an exam.  This is non-refundable.  For example, if you are taking AP Biology and AP Calculus AB, a check for $26.00 is needed by March 23rd to reserve your exams.  Registration will be done through the Counseling Office.

The remaining balance, $74.00 per exam, is due on the day of the exam.  For example, the AP Calculus balance would be due on Wednesday, May 4th and the AP Biology balance would be due on Monday, May 9th.
