Email News and Notifications
Parents and guardians are encouraged to sign up for our Email
News
program. By subscribing to the PT EMail News,
you
can
receive school cancellation and delay information, special
alerts, reminders about special events, and news from a particular
school. It is easy to subscribe--and you can maintain your own account
online.
When you subscribe, you may elect to receive emails from the
District (general news), each specific school, or any combination
thereof. You may unsubscribe at any time by revisiting the Email
News page, entering your email address and selecting the
unsubscribe link.
The Email News Notification program is voluntary.
Subscribers maintain their own email addresses and select their own
areas from which to receive email.

and procedures in the school district.
Grades Online / PowerSchool (Grades K-12)
Parents
/ guardians can view grades and attendance on-line. This online access
has replaced all written progress reports and written report cards for
the first 3 quarters of the school year.
Access the parent portal! To view all
students (grades K-12) grades online, visit Power
School Portal. Please allow teachers time to post grades online.
Parents of elementary school children: Special area (music, art,
physical education, etc.) progress at the elementary level may be
posted more infrequently than those of the core curricular subjects.

Need a username or password? Usernames and
passwords are issued by the schools to parents. If you lose your
username and/or password, please contact the following:

Moodle for Parents
To Create an account
- Click on PTSD
Moodle
- Under log-in, choose: Create a new account
- Your teacher may provide special instructions as to how
to create the username.
- You will get a verification email at the address you
provided. Please look for it. It may go to your junk mail.
- If you do not receive an email verifying the Moodle
account, please let your teacher know.
To Access a class or course
- Click on PTSD Moodle Page in the right column on this
page.
- Log in using your username and password.
- Your teacher may provide a special key code in order to
complete the access process. If you need the access code, please obtain
it from your teacher.
- You will then see the teacher's page and will be able to
view assignments, calendars and other news and information.
New Student Registration
The forms listed below must be completed and returned with
necessary documents to each child's school building to complete the
registration process. Please review the registration checklist to be sure you have all necessary documentation.

Kindergarten Registration
Bower Hill
Elementary School and Pleasant Valley Elementary School conduct an
annual registration for kindergarten for the next school year in
March. Information is generally posted on each school's web page, as
well as on the district's web page, and on the public access television
channels.

Morning Announcements (High School)
Peters Township High School provides a summary of the daily
announcements at PTHS_morning_announcements
Peters Township Middle School also posts PTMS announcements
to the web on a regular basis.
