Food Services Program

Peters Township School District offers a lunch program at each of its schools. Menu offerings provide from one third to one half of the daily nutritional requirements for a growing child. Students may also choose to bring a lunch.

The cost of a regular lunch is $2.00 for elementary, and $2.15 for a high school or middle school lunch.

Lunch prices

Elementary: $2.00

Secondary: $2.15 - premium; panini premium plus - $3.40

Adults: $2.85 - premium; panini premium plus - $3.80

 

MySchoolBucks- Point of Sale Service in Cafeteria

Peters Township has partnered with MySchoolBucks Point of Service System to provide accurate online school meal accounts.

Note: Parents who created accounts originally in NutriKids will find that their accounts have been automatically transferred to the new provider as of January 2013. Existing usernames and passwords are still valid in the new system.

Free and Reduced Price Lunch Program

The District also provides a free and reduced price lunch program. Guidelines and information on these programs are available at the building principal's office and on the school web site in pdf format. VisitLunch Program

District Lunch Program Policy

Under the provisions of the policy, a district employee will review applications and determine eligibility. If a parent is dissatisfied with the ruling, he or she may request a hearing by contacting the Business Manager.

The policy also provides that there will be no identification or discrimination against any child because of race, religion, sex, color, national origin or inability to pay the full price for a meal or milk.
