Nooks now available in the PTMS Library

The PTMS Library received twelve Nook eReaders through a Peters Township Education Foundation Grant.

The Nooks can be checked out of the library by students for up to three weeks just like a regular book!

You must come to the library first to get a "Nook Borrowing Agreement" form that you and your parent or guardian must sign and return before you can check out a Nook.

There are some great Reading Counts eBooks loaded onto the Nooks with more titles being added regularly. You can see what eBooks we currently have available by viewing the eBook list below or by stopping into the library.

Pick up your form today and be one of the first students to use our awesome new eReaders!

Reading Counts Program

The objective of the Middle School Reading Counts program is to improve students' reading and comprehension skills through independent reading. Students are required to read books from the Reading Counts Book Lists, come to the library, and take a computerized Reading Counts test. It is the student's responsibility to find the book, read it, and take the quiz. Students can take the tests during study lab time, before school or after school.
