Superintendent Search Update
The search for a superintendent has reached the interview stage. The paper screening and phone screening interviews of the first set of candidates has been completed. The Board is now in the process of conducting in-depth interviews with the candidates in order to ensure that the next superintendent possesses the qualities and demonstrates the skills identified in the focus groups as essential in the next superintendent.

PV Idol Raised More than $10K for American Cancer Society
On April 18, Pleasant Valley held their annual talent show – PV Idol. The evening featured student performances and staff performance. For two hours guests in the packed High School auditorium were treated to students who sang, danced, played the piano, told jokes, and even showed off their basketball and pogo stick skills – all for a wonderful cause. All of the proceeds from the evening benefit the American Cancer Society. The grand total for the night? An amazing $10,500.

High School NHS Welcomes 85 New Members
National Honor Society Induction On April 16, 85 students were inducted into the National Honor Society at Peters Township High School. These outstanding students represent not only the high academic standards of the organization, but the ideals of character, service and leadership as well. Click more for a complete list of names.
