Kathleen Chaudhari and her husband, Atul have lived in Peters Township since October, 2000. They have four children: Samantha (‘15), Sarah (‘15), Ian (‘19), and Anna (‘23).
Mrs. Chaudhari graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in Communications, and then earned her master’s degree in Human Resources from LaRoche University at night, while working in the non-profit and retail industries. She completed her Professional Certification in Human Resources (PHR) initially in 1996 and recertifies every three years to remain current in the HR field. Mrs. Chaudhari is currently an HR Generalist for a heavy equipment company. She joined the School Board in 2023.
For almost 20 years, Mrs. Chaudhari left full-time employment to raise her four children and become a committed volunteer in the Peters Township Community. She has been an active sports booster (softball, football, and cheer) and PTA volunteer, serving in various PTA positions including Membership Chair, Grade Coordinator, Area Council President, Vice President, and Secretary. Other volunteer positions include serving as Girl Scout Troop Leader, Boy Scout Training Coordinator, Catholic Religious Awards Coordinator, Faith Formation Teacher, and is the current Coordinator of the Angel Tree Program at St. Benedict the Abbot Church.
