Physical Education Philosophy
Physical Education in the Peters Township School District is a vital part of the total educational process of each individual student.Through physical activity, the program will help students obtain a balance in all areas of well-being: physical, mental/emotional, intellectual and social.
Through a variety of physical activities, students will develop an appreciation for the importance of physical fitness and the knowledge of how to reach their own individual potential for fitness throughout life.

Appropriate Dress
Please be sure that your child is dressed appropriately for Physical Education class on assigned days - wearing sneakers/tennis shoes and comfortable clothing
Pleasant Valley Physical Education Grading
Grade | Explanation |
1 | 90% proficiency or better in skill related activities while following correct technique. (Commendable Achievement). |
2 | 80% proficiency in skill related activities while following correct technique. (Satisfactory Achievement) |
3 | 70% or lower proficiency in skill related activities. (Experiencing Difficulty) |
