How To Apply for an Administration Position
To be considered for an administrative position (principals, etc.), you must apply via www.PA-Educator.net unless state otherwise.  Please submit the following (forms are available under Download Applications and Forms, top right):
  • Standard PA Application (for Teaching positions)
  • Pennsylvania Professional Certificate (if applicable)
  • Act 151, PA Child Abuse History
  • Act 34, Request for Criminal Record Check
  • Act 114 Criminal Clearance (requires fingerprinting) : Go to www.uenroll.identogo.com, enter Service Code 1KG6XN or call 1-844-321-2101.  
  • College Transcripts
  • Three Letters of Recommendation
  • Resume
  • Letter of Interest

How to Apply for a Professional Teaching Position
Peters Township School District belongs to the PA-Educator Consortium which serves as a professional clearinghouse for applicants seeking employment with Peters Township School District. PA-Educator’s database of applicants serves as the district’s primary resource for professional applications. If you are interested in applying for professional opportunities within the Peters Township School District, you must register on line and submit your application through PA-Educator. Additional information and directions for registering and submitting an application can be found on the PA-Educator web site at www.pa-educator.net.
 
The Peters Township School District does not accept paper applications for professional positions. Unless advertised otherwise, all candidates for professional positions will be selected from the PA-Educator applicant pool. Please do not mail duplicate application packets to Peters Township School District. Unsolicited application materials or transcripts cannot be acknowledged or returned.
 
 In the initial screening process, applicants should possess the following:
  • Strong academic preparation with a high grade point average 
  • Aggressive course work, particularly in specialty area; also courses in special education and topics related to technology
  • Pennsylvania Level I teaching certification (multiple areas of certification are preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertise in technology utilization
  • Expressed willingness to coach, sponsor or supervise student activities

How to Apply for a Substitute Teaching Positions
If you are interested in applying for substitute teaching positions  within the Peters Township School District, you must register on line and submit your application through PA-Educator. Additional information and directions for registering and submitting an application can be found on the PA-Educator web site at www.pa-educator.net.
Please be sure that the following information is updated on PA-Educator:
  • Standard PA Application (for Teaching positions)

How to Apply for a Support Staff/Non-Teaching Positions:
Includes support staff positions such as paraprofessionals, secretaries, teacher aides, cafeteria and recess monitors, custodial/maintenance, transportation,and food service workers.
To be considered for a non-teaching position, please submit the following:
  • Act 151, PA Child Abuse History
  • Act 34, Request for Criminal Record Check
  • Support Staff Application (for Paraprofessional, Secretarial, Teacher Aides, Cafeteria and Playground Monitors, Custodial/ Maintenance, Transportation, Food Service)
  • Act 141 Criminal Clearance (requires fingerprinting) : Go to www.uenroll.identogo.com, enter Service Code 1KG6XN or call 1-844-321-2101.
  • Letter of Interest
  • Letters of Recommendation (optional)
  • College/Associate degree Transcripts (Paraprofessional applicants only)
