New Admin Team for PT Schools

At the regular April meeting of the Board of School Directors, current District Assistant Superintendent Dr. Michael Fisher was named Deputy Superintendent for the Peters Township School District. The change became effective on July 1, 2026 when Dr. Jennifer Murphy moves to her new role as the Superintendent, following the retirement of Dr. Jeannine French.
Dr. Fisher will continue his role focusing on curriculum for grades K-5, overseeing assessment and the District’s safety and security efforts. Dr. Fisher has been a member of the District’s leadership team since 2016, and was previously the Principal at Pleasant Valley Elementary School.
Mr. Adam Sikorski was also named Assistant to the Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, with a focus on the secondary level. Sikorski makes the move to District’s central administration team following 12 years as the Principal at Peters Township Middle School. In addition to his role in Peters Township, Sikorski is currently an Adjunct Professor at Point Park University where he teaches graduate level courses in Educational Administration and Principal Certification. Prior to coming to Peters Township, he spent 10 years in the Pittsburgh Public School District in roles that included Classroom Teacher, Intervention Specialist, and K-8 Principal. He moved to the new role on July 1, 2026.
