BH Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

Arrival Procedures

Car Rider Procedures:

• Parents will enter at our Bower Hill School Parent Entry – Follow the blue arrows.
• Staff will be positioned around the drop off circle.  
• Student will enter through the main doors in the front of the building.
• Car rider Arrival is between 8:50-9:00.  Please do not drop off before this time as there is no staff to supervise students prior to 8:50 a.m.  
• Please be sure to have your child ready to exit the car.
• If your child requires assistance from you in exiting the car, please park in the parent parking lot.  Please do not park and get out of your car in the car circle.

Bus Rider Procedures:

• Buses will drop the students off in front of our main entrance.
• Students will enter through the main doors in the front of the building.
• Adults will be stationed at the bus drop off locations to help students. 

Dismissal Procedures

Car Rider Procedures:

• Please park in the parent parking lot.
• Refrain from parking in the staff parking lots. 
• No Parking in the car circle (highlighted red on the map)
• Please walk to the parent waiting area by the playground.

A Staff member will match you with your child:

• We will collect permanent and/or daily car rider notes from your child when they are matched with you.
• If your child is not a permanent car rider, please be sure to provide notification in writing to both the office and your child’s teacher prior to 3:00.
• Car rider dismissal will be promptly at 3:25 p.m., please do not arrive before 3:15 p.m
• If your child does not have a car rider note at dismissal, you will be directed to the office to fill one out. 

Bus Rider Procedures:

• Students are dismissed to their bus via the PA system.
• Students will exit through the main doors in the front of the building.
• Adults will be stationed outside the building to help students.
