  • Today is a “D” day

    CLUBS

    The first Fashion Club meeting will be on Thursday, September 10. All are welcome. Questions? See Mrs. Ulf.

    The Chess Club will have its first meeting on Thursday, September 10, after school until 3:30 p.m. in room 328.  If you cannot make this first meeting, see Mrs. Neff. The club will meet every other Thursday, and anyone is welcome to attend, no matter what skill level.

    The PTHS Law and Government Club will be holding its first meeting on Thursday, September 10, in room 229 from 2:30-3:00 p.m.  Any student that is interested in hearing about the Law and Government Club, joining Mock Trial, or participating in Model United Nations should plan to attend the meeting.  Information about the club will be provided and students will have an opportunity to sign up and join the club on Thursday.  If you are interested but cannot attend, please contact Mr. Brado.

    Attention National Honor Society Members: We will have a meeting on Monday, September 14, immediately after school in the cafeteria.  Please plan to attend.  Any questions can be directed to Mrs. Kocan in room 221.  Thank you.

    Attention all students, new and old, to Peters Township High School.  The first Newcomers Club meeting will be on Wednesday, September 16, at 2:30 pm in Room 113.  This is a low-commitment club where you meet new people, plan fun activities, and create new friendships at school.  See Mrs. Ulf with any questions. 

    Are you a high school Junior interested in a career in a STEAM-related field? The Westinghouse Science Honors Institute (WSHI) offers a free lecture series from numerous experts in their fields, including NASA, UPMC, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, and more! Join us for 8 Saturday morning presentations from October - March. Participation in the program includes a certificate of completion (great for college applications!) and the chance to meet and listen to leading industry experts in a wide range of STEAM careers. The program also includes the opportunity to tour the Breazeale Nuclear Reactor at Penn State University. For information, please contact Mrs. Hlebinsky in Room 320. Hope to see you there!

    The Forensics Speech and Debate team will hold their first meeting on Tuesday, September 8, after school in room 219. Anyone interested should attend or see Ms. Bandik in room 219.

    Attention Returning FBLA Members - FBLA officer applications for the 2026-27 school year are available on Canvas and in Room 101.  FBLA officer applications are due by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4.  Late applications will not be accepted.

    CLUBS

    Interested in starting a new club this school year? Stop by the main office to pick up an application. Also, a reminder that all club flyers must be dropped off in the main office for approval before advertising.

    Dungeons & Dragons Club wants you to attend our party. Come build characters, craft epic stories, roll critical hits, and hang out with fellow adventurers.  Join us in the Learning Commons Thursday, September 3, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. to see what it is all about.

    Video Club will meet after school on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the media suite, room 304M. All are welcome.

    7:15 PM Girls Varsity Field Hockey HOME vs Norwin Senior High School

    The PT Girls Varsity Tennis Team defeated Mt. Lebanon 3-2 in a huge section match.
    Elise Hassan won in 3 sets at 3 singles while the doubles team of Molly Barry/Sashrika Sharma also won in straight sets. Sophomore Lexi Ward clinched the match with a 6-3,3-6,7-6 victory at 2 singles. The team improves to 5-1 overall and 1-0 in section play.
