The girls' cross-country team brought home another first-place trophy for both the varsity and the JV teams at the Washington County coaches meet yesterday! The boys with a stellar 2nd place team trophy with top 20 medal winners on both boys and the girls' teams.

Peters Township Field Hockey took on Oakland Catholic at home Monday. Peters defeated Oakland 6-0. Goals were scored by CeCe Reyes and Sydney Wagner. Two goals each were scored by Sophia Bergman and Aubrey Arabia. Peters takes on Upper St. Clair tonight in USC for their last regular season game!

Congratulations to the girl's golf team on winning the WPIAL Team Championship! Their total of 326 was 27 strokes clear of the second-place team. Josie Jeglinski had the low round of the entire field with a 74. They will compete for a state title on the 21st at State College
Good morning, Peters Township Students. Let’s pack the gym tonight as our Girls Volleyball Team takes on North Allegheny! Two highly decorated teams, one exciting matchup—and we need YOU to bring the energy! Wear RED, bring your friends, and get loud as we cheer on our girls. The first 50 students get in for FREE! JV plays tonight at 5:45 p.m. and Varsity at 7:00 p.m.
Peters Township Field Hockey brought home two wins last night! The Junior varsity team took on Mars, defeating the team 1 to 0. Goals scored by Kenzie Balog. The varsity team played Greater Latrobe, defeating them 6-1! Goals were scored by Aubrey Arabia, Mia Shaughnessy, Eliza Muelhbauer, and Kenzie Balog. Two goals were scored by Layney O' Brian.

The girls’ varsity tennis team defeated TJ 5-0 in the 1st round of the WPIAL playoffs. Winning singles were Neve Zuzek, Elise Hassan and Alice Hospodar. The doubles teams of Molly Barry/Sashrika Sharma and Sabrina DeChicchis/Eliana Ebert were also winners. The team improves to 12-3 overall and plays the winner of NA/Norwin on Wednesday.

The cross-country team raced sections championships at White Oak Park yesterday. The girls’ team came home with a well-earned section champion first place trophy. Adam May medaled with being Top 5 in the boys’ race… Congratulations to the boys’ and girls’ team for a great race.On Wednesday, Peters Township Field Hockey took on Penn Trafford Field Hockey. Junior Varsity defeated Penn Trafford 3-0, two goals scored by Molly Fidler and one by Olivia Bergman. Peters Township Varsity Field hockey team defeated Penn Trafford 5-1! Mia Shaunessy scored one goal, Sophia Bergman two goals, and Aubrey Arabia two goals.

The PTHS Interactive Club is running our annual sneaker drive! It will run from September 29th to October 6th. Anyone is welcome to donate! Collection boxes will be in the school lobby throughout the duration of the drive. We are only able to accept sneakers. Please donate and help us provide sneakers for those in need.

The South Hills College fair will be held on Today, October 6, from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Bethel Park High School. The event is open to all high school families. Students will have the opportunity to learn about many different types of colleges and post-secondary programs, including 2-year and 4-year schools, trade schools, and military. Register and attend the fair for a chance to win a $750 scholarship.
