Academic Support at PTMS
Helping your child to succeed academically is our primary goal. Throughout their time at the Middle School, students work hard and learn skills that will prepare them for success at the High School and beyond.
 
From time to time, students need help with organization, study skills or even a particular unit of study. Talking with your child's teacher is a great first step in understanding what help is needed. The Counseling office can also assist with connecting students with the help they need. 
Hot Shots Homework Help Program
Our afterschool homework help program, HOT SHOTS, meets every Tuesday and Thursday in the middle school library between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Our program sponsor for the 2024-2025 school year is Mrs. Jessica Neidermeyer. If you are interested in having your child attend our after school homework program, download our HOT SHOTS Permission Slip below or stop by the MS School Counseling Office to pick up a form. Completed permission slips can be e-mailed directly to Mrs. Neidermeyer at:  neidermeyerj@pt-sd.org or dropped off in the Main Office and put in her mailbox.
