Welcome to Peters Township School District! Every day we welcome more than 4,300 students into our classrooms to challenge and support their efforts in academics, activities and athletics. While we are widely known for our academic achievements across the state, the success of our students goes well beyond those statistics. Our dedicated and experienced staff seeks to have a positive impact on the lives of each student during their time in Peters Township – with each student we reach, we are making our mark.

New Tax Deadline for PT
The Peters Township Board of School Directors has voted to help property taxpayers in our community with an extension of payment deadlines. Under this new resolution, the discount period during which school property taxpayers may pay their property taxes at the discounted rate will be extended by one month to Sept. 30, 2020 and the face value period before any penalty would be imposed has been extended to until Nov. 30, 2020. This vote was taken to provide help for those who have felt a financial impact during this COVID-19 health crisis.

District librarians are frequently asked for suggestions or advice to help direct young readers to books they may enjoy. For the summer, each building has created a list for parents and students looking for ideas. Peters Township has partnered with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to provide the Safe2Say Something (S2SS) program. This anonymous reporting system allows students in grades 7-12 to safetly and quickly report any issues where a student may be a threat to themselves or others. Click the headline to learn more.
