Peters Township High School is offering a Summer Physical Education course for our students entering grades 9-12. 

Registration for the 2026 Summer Gym program will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 9:00 am. Please note that courses may be capped due to enrollment limits.  

Please note the following items:

  • All registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Attendance at all classes during the selected session is mandatory to receive credit.  
  • Students that leave early or arrive late will not receive credit for those days.
  • Please note, there will be no make-up dates offered or switches between sessions.
  • Students may only sign up for one session.
  • If you already have fulfilled your gym credit requirement, you may not enroll in Summer Gym.

Students will report to the AHN Arena (PTHS Gymnasium) on the first day of their respective session. 

Cost of the course is $240.00. Checks can be made out to Peters Township School District.

2026 SUMMER GYM

  • Fee and form must be submitted by April 1, 2026
  • No refunds will be given after May 1, 2026
  • Session 1 (In-Person): June 10-12 and June 15-19; 8:00 am-11:45 am (8 dates)
  • Session 2 (In-Person): June 10-12 and June 15-19; 12:00 pm-3:45 pm (8 dates)
  • Session 3 (In-Person): June 22-26 and June 29-30; 8:00 am-12:20 pm (7 dates)

Students may only register for one session and will participate in indoor and outdoor activities, including pickleball, ping-pong, ultimate frisbee or football, gatorball, kickball, and volleyball.  

Video sessions covering first aid techniques, concussions, nutrition, and other health topics will also be part of the curriculum. Swimming will not be offered.  

Students must wear proper gym attire (t-shirt and shorts, or long sleeves and pants in colder weather) at all times, although no official uniform is required. 

Attendance at all classes during the selected session is mandatory to receive credit. If you do not attend all days of your session, you will not receive credit for the course.
