July 1, 2017: PlanCon documents filed with the State for potential reimbursement
July 11, 2017: School Board enters into an agreement with Hayes Design to design a new high school on the Rolling Hills property
August 7, 2017: Booster and PTA officers attend work session to offer feedback on the designs.
August 9, 2017: Peters Township Police, Fire and EMS begin discussions with the District to review design and provide input.
August 14, 2017: Buildings and Grounds Work Session - School Board reviews design and community feedback; examines site plan and traffic pattern options provided by Hayes Design
August 15, 2017: High School teacher facilitators review the plans and compare to staff survey results (that outlined staff member needs for new facility) and prepare for meeting with entire High School staff.
August 22, 2017: The entire High School staff met by department to review the plans and make important decisions on classroom square footage, storage and other space considerations.
August 31, 2017: Members of the High School student executive council had their first chance to review the schematic design and add their feedback. These students represent many different groups in our student body - class officers, ambassadors, thespians, National Honor Society, SADD, forensics, marching band and athletes.
September 11, 2017: School Board hires Reynolds Construction LLC as the construction manager for the high school project.
November 16, 2017: Community Gallery Walk for more members of our community to view the plans and learn more about the project. The public could visit stations to see the plans, schematic renderings and project finances.
November 16, 2017: Act 34 Hearing
March 19, 2018: Board approves the advertisement of bids for the new High School project.
June 11, 2018: Board awards bid for the construction of the new Peters Township High School.
July 19, 2018: Groundbreaking ceremony at the construction site.
