Despite Bower Hill students' love of music, entries to the PTA reflections program in the music category are often scarce. When there are submissions, students often do extremely well! Sometimes the thought of recording an original music composition is daunting to parents. Don't let it stop you! Chances are good that you are carrying a phone that can do the job for you. If not, a bit of creative thinking can quickly generate a number of ways to record a child's musical output.
There are lists of music creation apps all over the web, here is a
quick list of some that I use in the Bower Hill music room.
It is important to note though, for the age of children at Bower Hill, notating their song is not required! In the past, children have composed songs with lyrics for simple singing, and composed simple piano pieces that they perform and then record. Should you have any questions,
