Chapter 5

Now that a nation is created, we will explore the many debates that the founding fathers had on how to run the country.  We will examine the ideas of several influential people and the compromises made.  The first idea of a confederation of states failed miserably, so it was time to go back to the drawing board.   The new Constitution created was much stronger and would last for more than 200 years ultimately serving as an example to many governments throughout world history.
