National Merit Semifinalists
National Merit Semi Finalists
Five students from Peters Township High School have been named semifinalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation in the annual National Merit Scholarship Program. The 16,000 semifinalists nationwide represent less than 1 percent of U.S. high school seniors and include the highest-scoring students in each state.

Seniors Jackson Busche, Caleb Eynon, Wenhan Lu, Robyn Strazisar and James Wang will now have an opportunity to continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, worth more than $30 million, that will be offered next spring. Merit Scholar designees are selected on the basis of their skills, accomplishments, and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
