About Our Show:
Nightfall is not just a retelling of Poe's most famous stories, but a psychological thriller about the man himself. Each tale is woven together as Poe descends into madness. Even now, much of what we know about Poe is a mixture of reality and fantasy—fact and lore. To this day, theories abound about Poe’s mental state, his relationships, his destructive habits, and his death. For so many people, Poe IS his stories. In Nightfall, we pay tribute to the mastermind behind the detective story, and the inspiration for countless horror and crime novelists that followed. PTHS is proud to present Nightfall: An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe!
