The Peters Township Board of School Directors has voted to help property taxpayers in our community with an extension of payment deadlines. Under this new resolution, the discount period during which school property taxpayers may pay their property taxes at the discounted rate will be extended by one month to Sept. 30, 2020 and the face value period before any penalty would be imposed has been extended to until Nov. 30, 2020. This vote was taken to provide help for those who have felt a financial impact during this COVID-19 health crisis.
