Counselor Office Hours for Schedule Changes 

High School Counselors will have open office hours on August 15 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. for students in grades 11 & 12 and 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. for students in grades 9 & 10.  

Schedule change requests will only be considered if space is available for the following reasons: 

Academic: Students may change a class for an incorrect course level, work release approval, and/or graduation deficiency. 

Study Hall: Students may eliminate a study hall or drop an elective to add a study hall if they are without one. Students are permitted to be scheduled for one year-long study hall if they do not have a lab science. Students with a lab science may only schedule an additional semester long study hall. 

Summer School: When a student completes and passes a summer school course, a schedule change may be necessary.
