Parents who wish to enroll their child in remote instruction for the 2021-22 school year must complete and submit the form (link below) prior to the July 2, 2021 remote enrollment deadline. Due to scheduling constraints, no remote enrollments may be made after the July 2, 2021 deadline. Remote enrollment will open again prior to the start of the second semester for families who wish to enroll in remote instruction.
Remote Instruction, as a program offering for the 2021-22 school year, will more closely align with the requirements of in-person instruction. Please note a few important changes below:
- For all synchronous classes, students must be logged-in/camera on at the scheduled time in order to be marked present for attendance purposes. Remote students will be held to the same expectations regarding attendance/truancy as students who attend in-person classes.
- Assignment deadlines will be the same for both in-person and remote learners.
- Enhanced test security and software monitoring features will be implemented.
- At the secondary level, certain elective courses will not be offered as remote options. Please reach out to your child's school if you have questions regarding elective offerings.
Please complete one form for each child participating in remote instruction.
Note: Parents who wish for their child to attend school in-person do not need to complete this form. Face coverings for in-person students and staff will be optional unless mandated by Order of the PA Secretary of Health, Governor, or other governing authority.
