As the school year began, the Department of Health changed its regulations relating to school immunizations and new requirements were added. Throughout the year, parents of students who needed additional immunizations have been contacted via mail and/or phone calls. Effective May 1, in accordance with state law, children whose immunizations do not meet these new regulations will not be permitted in school.
