As a reminder for parents, school closings and delays will be communicated in a variety of ways. The District utilizes the parent notification calling system to alert families to changes in our schedule via phone and email. The alerts are also posted on local television news stations, the District website and facebook page. 

Please be sure to review the contact information we have on file for your in your parent PowerSchool account under Contact Manager (Contacts Tab). Any phone number where you wish to receive notifications about delays or closings must have a check mark under the GENERAL setting. In the case of a sudden change in the weather that impacts our schedule, we may also use the NON-SCHOOL HOURS EMERGENCY numbers as well to be sure everyone is aware. 

At times, parents may disagree with the decisions made by the District with regards to delays and closings. Please note that parents have the authority to bring their child in late or keep them home for the day due to weather concerns. A student tardy or absence will be excused by the District for these reasons. Per the new state regulations, these absences will count as part of the ten allowable for each school year.

Modified Kindergarten Schedule (2-hour delay):
For AM students:
11:00 am to 12:50 pm
For PM students: 1:35 pm to 3:25 pm
