UPDATED! New Phone System for PT Schools
On March 28, Bower Hill Elementary was added to the list of District buildings included in the new phone system. The new phone system in now in place in Bower Hill, the Middle School, High School, Administration Building, Bus Garage and Pleasant Valley
Elementary. This system will provide improved reliability and includes added
features for staff members. Over the next few months, you will be alerted as
additional schools are brought online to the new system. Below are some new
features to note when calling the District:
- The buildings on the new system (BH, PTMS, PTHS, Administration,
Bus Garage and PV) may all be reached by dialing the main District number
724-941-6251 and following the prompts. Eventually, all District buildings can
be reached by dialing one central number.
- Please listen carefully to the voice prompts.
For example – you must now dial 9 before entering a direct extension.
- Anyone wishing to reach McMurray should continue to use the direct dial number.
The new system makes communicating between buildings easier
than ever and new voicemail features make receiving and responding to messages
more efficient for staff across the District. Thank you for your patience as we
work to improve our phone service.
