and Guardians:
We have made the choice to renew our partnership with the
Carnegie Science Center and elicit their expertise and assistance in conveying
a portion of our Human Growth and Development unit in 5th
grade.Our students will view the
program Wonder of Wonders in
the month of May, near the conclusion of the Human Growth and Development unit
that is taught by our science and health teachers.
If you are interested, the Carnegie Science Center invites parents
on the following dates to review the Wonder of Wonders program. These previews
end with a question-and-answer session.No reservations are required,
and all previews begin at 7 pm at Carnegie Science Center. Please note
that our students do not receive the optional presentation about HIV.

There is also a special date just for families on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 for parents who
prefer to view the program with their child. Registration for this event is required.If you are interested in the March date just for families, you should
contact the Carnegie Science Center by calling 412.237.3400, then press 7 to
reserve your spot. This presentation begins at 7 pm at Carnegie Science Center.
The price is $10 per child and free for adults.
