New Student Orientation/Welcome Back Night will consist of the following.
4-6pm on Wednesday August 26th
4:00-4:30pm: Families arrive and students start to practice their schedules.
4:30-4:50pm: Parent Meeting with Administrators in Auditorium.
5:30-6:00pm: Upperclassmen permitted to come to walk their schedules.
· Students are asked to bring a printed schedule with them from Powerschool.
· Counselors will be available to assist with schedules and locker combinations.
· Ensure IEP lockers open. Have case managers check this.
This will be for 9th grade/New students and parents. (Middle School students taking honors classes at the HS will be invited as well).
· There will be a club/sports/activity fair in the cafeteria.
· Students will walk around the building practicing their schedule and locker combinations.
· Ambassadors will be stationed throughout the school at intersections to assist with navigation.
· Upper Classmen will be permitted to come from 5:30-6pm to practice their schedules. The office will not print their schedules for them. They may use their account in the library or should bring their schedule with them.
