New Calendar Approved 3/21/16
The Peters
Township School Board has approved a revised calendar for the 2015-2016 school
year. The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) has granted a waiver for
our seniors, and the final day of school for seniors will be June 10, 2016.
There will be no school for seniors on June 13-17 as originally planned. The
commencement ceremony remains on Friday, June 10 at the High School.
Please note
the following additional changes:
- The
final day of school for students in grades K-11 will be Thursday, June 23 due
to the snow day in February.
- PDE
has also granted a waiver for the student make-up day for PTHS and Pleasant
Valley due to the water main break in December. That student day will not be
made up.
- There
will be one Saturday graduation practice for seniors on May 21, 2016.
