PTSD Seeks Resident to Fill Board Vacancy
On January 17, the Board of School Directors accepted the resignation of Board Member Sue Smith after 8 years of service to the District and community.
The Peters Township School District is now accepting letters of interest with resumes from residents desiring to serve on the Peters Township Board of School Directors. The individual appointed will serve the remainder of Mrs. Smith’s term, which ends on December 4, 2017. Letters of interest and resumes must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on January 30, 2017 by the Peters Township School District. In order to be a member of the School Board, you must be a US Citizen at least 18 years of age, of good moral character, and a resident of the school district for at least one year prior to the date of election or appointment.
Interviews for the candidates will be conducted on the evening of February 6 in a special meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. in the District Administration Building.
