Peters Township School District is proud to continue our Rachel’s Challenge Program for the 2019-2020 school year. As many of you know, last year we introduced this important initiative to our students and community and Peters Township eagerly embraced this effort at all grade levels.

 

Last fall more than 1,000 community members attended our Community Kickoff at the Bible Chapel and heard Darrel Scott, Rachel’s father, tell her story. We encourage you to come out again a hear from Chris Mowrey who led our student and staff kickoffs last year as he returns to Peters Township.  Family and friends are welcome to this event, but please know that the program is not recommended for children under the age of 12.  Images from the news media showing the Columbine Tragedy will be shown.  If you have any questions about the event or program, please contact Shelly Belcher at [email protected]  We hope to see you on September 10th!
