The Middle School sponsors an athletic program open to all students in Grades 7 and 8.

Attention Current 7th Grade Students:
Sign Ups Are Going On Now in the Guidance Office For The Following Fall Sports: Football, Girls Volleyball, and Cross Country. You must stop in and pick up an informational handout and physical packet. You must also sign up with your contact information.
Attention 7th Grade Girls: Sign ups are currently taking place in the Guidance Office
for Girls Volleyball for next year. You can sign up and take an informational packet
that includes info about our summer volleyball camps, a tentative practice schedule, and a PIAA Physical Packet.
An informational handout about all PTMS Fall Sports for 2013-2014 will be available soon.
This will include contact information for coaches about the following Middle School Fall Sports: Football, Cross Country, Girls Volleyball, Swimming, and Cheerleading.

Please click on the link located at the top right of this page to print off a copy.
Except for Football, all MS sports offically begin after the school year starts. However, fall sports such as girls volleyball and cross country do hold additional practices during the summer before school begins for the 2013-2014 school year. Contact the appropriate coach for that sport.
During the school year, students should listen for practice times on the morning and afternoon school announcements.

PTMS Athletic Handbook

Students can print out the last page of this handbook and return it to their respective head coach along with their other athletic paperwork.
Middle School Athletics Requirements
All students following the coaches' guidelines will not be cut from the team. The one exception is boy's basketball due to the large number of students who try out for the team each year.
Students are responsible for their transportation home.
During the school year, practices are generally held immediately after school, Monday through Friday. Middle School sport practice dates will begin after the start of the school year and will be announced on the morning announcements. Sports related announcements are also posted on the School Announcement page of our PTMS website.

Sports Sign Ups: During the school year, parents should contact the PTMS School Counseling Office Secretary for additional information.
When school is out of session, parents should e-mail the appropriate coach.
