Directions to Local Schools

Driving directions from the Peters Township School District to over 100 area schools has been provided for your convenience. Additional directions can also be found at www.HighSchoolSports.net .

Albert Gallatin High School

Take Route 40 and past the Uniontown Mall.
Make right turn on Route 119 South just after McDonalds.
Travel 5-6 miles to Route 43 junction, Smithfield Morgantown Exit. Turn right and go about 1 mile to Morgantown Road, 119 South Exit. At the end of the exit, turn right onto a two lane highway [Rt.119]. Travel approximately 5 miles and watch for Fayette Health Center on the left. As you start down a little hill, there is a blue sign Albert Gallatin High School on the right. Make a right turn immediately after the sign and then about 50 yards turn left. The school is about ½ mile on the left.

Aliquippa High School

Take I-79 North and exit at Route 65 North. Take 65 North to Route 980 making a right (Ambridge Exit). At the second traffic light, make a left onto Merchant Street. Continue to second traffic light and make a left onto the Ambridge Bridge. Bear right and take the Aliquippa Exit. At the stop sign make a left onto Franklin Avenue. Go through town to the flashing amber light and make a left up the steep hill. The school will be on your right.

Allderdice High School

Take the Parkway East. Get off at the Squirrel Hill Exit. Go through the light at the exit. Poli's Restaurant will be on the right. You will be on Forward Avenue. Go to the next intersection and make a left on Shady Avenue. The school and gym are on the left. On Saturdays the doors to the right of the gym are open. 

Altoona High School

Take Route 22 East to Duncansville. Turn left on Route 764. Follow Route 764 into Altoona where it becomes 6th Avenue. The high school is on 6th Avenue between 12th and 13th Streets on the right. Just over 100 miles. 

Ambridge Area High School

Take I 79 North to the Sewickley Exit and take Route 65 North [down river] to Ambridge. At the red light turn right onto Route 989 and go 4 traffic lights to Duss Avenue. School is on the left.

Ambridge Area Jr. High School

Take Route 65 North through Ambridge to Conway. Turn right at traffic signal onto Conway-Wallrose Road. Follow Conway-Wallrose Road to first street in Economy [sign on the corner] and make a right. Follow this road to the school.

Avonworth High School

Take I-79 North to I-279 through downtown Pittsburgh. Exit I-279 at the Camp Horne Road Exit #21. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left and go a short distance, then turn right at the second traffic light. Go up the hill and the school will be on the right.

Baldwin-Whitehall High School

Take McMurray Road to South Park Road and turn right. Go past South Park Entrance and go straight at all traffic lights. When you reach Route 51, turn right (watch for utility pole on that corner). The school is about 1 mile on the left.

Beaver Area High School

Take I 79North and exit Rt 22-30 [Parkway]. Follow signs to Pittsburgh Airport. You are now on Rt 60. Stay on Rt 60 North past the airport and take the Beaver Exit. Bear right and go to second traffic light [cemetery on left] then turn left. Travel 2 - 3 blocks and follow sign directing you to the high school.

Beaver Area VoTech

Follow Beaver Area directions and take the Center Township Exit off Route 60. Turn left when to road comes to a T. This is Broadhead Road. At the first traffic light, turn right into the Community College of Beaver County. At the stop sign turn right. Look for the VoTech Building on the left. 

Beaver County Community College (The Dome is used for basketball)

Take the Parkway past the new airport on to the Beaver Valley Expressway. Get off at the Center Exit. At the end of the exit ramp turn right. Go up a grade through the first traffic light to the second traffic light at the T at Broadhead Road. Turn left on Broadhead. Go about 2 miles (toward Monaca) and you will see a sign for the college and the Dome on the right. Allow about 50 minutes from Bethel Park.

Belle Vernon High School

Take I-70 East to Exit #20. Bear right and take Rt. 201 North. Travel about 3 miles and go straight at the intersection when Rt 201 turns right. About ¼ mile on top of the hill, Belle Vernon High School will be on the right.

Bethel Park High School

Take McMurray Road and turn right on South Park Road. At the second traffic light turn left on Church Road. The school will be on the right. 

Bethlehem Center High School

Take Route 519 South to Route 40 East to Bealsville. At the traffic light, turn right then stay left going up the hill. Go 1 ½ miles and turn left. Go through the village of Deemston and continue past the crest in the hill. Bear left at the dip in the road and the school is a short distance.

Blackhawk High School

Take I-79 North to airport exit and take the parkway past the airport. You are on Route 60 [Beaver Valley Expressway]. Follow this to exit 15 [Chippewa]. Do not go on the Toll Road. Turn onto Route 51 West. As you approach the 3rd traffic light move into the far left lane and turn left onto Darlington Road [Route 588]. About ¼ mile go straight at the stop sign and about 200 yards past that stop sign turn left onto Route 251 West [Blackhawk Road]. Travel 1 mile and turn right onto McClain Road. The school is on the left.

Brownsville High School

Take I-70 West. Exit I-70 to Expressway Route 43 (toll road - 50 cents). Stay on the toll road approximately 5 miles. Exit at Route 40 East toward Brownsville. Make a left at the stop sign. Follow Route 40 and cross the bridge into Brownsville. At the end of the bridge, make a right turn through the business district (at this point you are approximately 1 ½ miles from the school). You will pass the Gallitan Bank and Curley's Restaurant. Go over the hill and look for the A Plus Mini Mart. Right past the Mini Mart and make a left at Georgia's Place. Follow that street ¼ mile to the school.

Butler Community College

Follow I-79 North to Route 19 North to Route 228 East until you come to Route 8 and go North. Look for College sign and turn right. College is on left at the top of the hill.

Butler High School 

Take I-79 North and exit at Evans City Route 528. Bear right and follow this crooked road for about 2 miles to a "T". Bear right onto Route 68 East. You will pass an Agway store on the left and continue straight about 3 more miles to a traffic light. [Dairy Queen] Turn right into the school entrance. After you leave I-79 it will be about 14-15 miles to the school. 

Burgettstown High School

Take Route 980 from Canonsburg to Route 50 [Cecil}. Turn left on Route 50 and continue through the town of Hickory. About 3 miles from Hickory turn right on Route 18 to Burgettstown. After the 3rd traffic light in Burgettstown turn right onto Bevington. The school is on the right.

California State

Take I-70 West to exit 15 A and take Route 43 South [Toll Road]. Exit the Toll Road marked California and turn right at the stop sign. Then proceed to sign marked Wood Street. Stay on Wood Street to the bottom of the long hill. At the only traffic light in town turn right to the campus.

Canevin High School

On Greentree Road cross over the Parkway and turn left onto Mansfield (this is the way to the Marriott and Holiday Inn). At the next intersection go straight and continue down the hill past the Marriott and Holiday Inn to the Greentree Drive-In. At stop sign, turn right on Noblestown. About ¼ mile turn left onto Morange.

Canon-McMillan High School

Take Route 19 South to Route 519. Keep right on the exit ramp heading toward the town of Canonsburg. This will put you on Route 980. About ¼ mile on the left you will come to a double road. The first road is Vance. The second is unmarked. Take the second road. Follow this road about ½ mile to the school on the right. 

Canonsburg Middle School

Take Route 19 South to Route 519. At the end of that exit ramp bear right heading into Canonsburg. Follow that road, winding down the hill into Canonsburg. Continue to the main intersection at Pike Street. Continue straight ahead for 1 ½ blocks. The school is on the right.

Carlynton High School

Take the Parkway West to the Rosslyn Farms Exit. Follow the exit ramp to the stop sign. Go through the stop sign to the next stop sign at Kings Highway. Turn left onto Kings Highway. You will go up a small grade to a stop sign. Go straight for about 100 yards. The entrance to the school is on your left. 

Carrick High School

Take Brownsville Road toward Pittsburgh. There is a traffic light at Maytide. The next light is at Becks Run Road. Concord School is on the corner. Go to the next light at Parkfield Street. You will see Carrick Shopping Center on your left on the other side of Parkfield. Turn left on Parkfield. The school is on Parkfield. 

Center High School

Take Route 65 toward Ambridge. Stay on Route 65 until you come to the Monaca Bridge. Cross the bridge and turn right. Continue on this road all the way (climbing a hill) until you come to the Beaver Valley Mall. You will cross in front of the mall. There will be one set of traffic lights at the mall's entrance (Duncan Donuts on the left). Go to the second set of traffic lights to a major intersection. Go straight through the intersection and proceed about 1/4 mile. On the right is Mac'' Donuts. Turn left at this point where there should be a sign for the school. The school will be directly in front (soccer field is behind the school).

Central Catholic High School

From downtown Pittsburgh take Forbes Avenue past the Carnegie Library in Oakland. At the next light turn left on South Craig. Go 2 blocks on South Craig. Turn right on Winthrop Street and go 1 block. Parking lot is at the end of the street.

Charleroi High School

Take Route 88 South through Monongahela. As you approach Charleroi look for a Dairy Queen. Just past the Dairy Queen is a stop sign. Turn right on 4th Street (Route 88 goes left down the hill and there is an elementary school in front of you. Up the hill look for sign of Charleroi High School on the right.

Chartiers-Houston High School

Take Route 19 South to Racetrack Road. Turn right onto Racetrack Road. Continue on Racetrack Road until you come to the end. Turn right onto Pike Street and go ½ mile. The high school will be on the left. Go past school and turn left for parking.

Chartier s Valley High School

Take I-79 North and exit at Kirwan Heights. At the traffic light turn left onto Route 50 and then turn left at the next traffic light onto Thomas Run Road. The school is on the left.

Carmichaels High School

Take I-79 South to Waynesburg and then take Route 21 East. Stay on Rt21 to the "Y" in the road and bear left. Stay on that road to George Street and make left at first traffic light. Go 1 block and turn left onto Green Street. High school is on the right.

Chippewa Park Field

• Use the Chippewa exit (exit 15) on route 60
• Turn onto route 51 west
• Make a right at the 2 nd red light onto Braden School Road
• At the stop sign make a right onto Darlington road
• Travel about ¼ mile to Klein street (Yolanda's restaurant)
• Turn left onto Klein
• The field is about 1 mile down the road on the right hand side

Connellsville High School

Take I-70 East to Route 51 South to Route 201 to Connellsville. At the outskirts of Connellsville, you will come to a 5-road intersection. Bear to the left to a stoplight (Sheetz will be on your left). Go straight across the bridge to the light at the end of the bridge. Go through town to a stoplight and go straight up the hill. You are on East Crawford Avenue. Stay on East Crawford until you come to a big turn in the road (this turn will go to the left). The road will make a "Y" (there is a big dark red brick home there). At the "Y" make a right onto Breakneck Road (If Geibel H.S. is on your right, you missed the turn onto Breakneck Road). On Breakneck, make the first right turn onto Falcon Drive. The high school is on the left. Parking lots are on either side of the school.

Derry Area High School

Take I-70 West to Youngwood and take Route 119 North to Route 30 West. Stay on Route 30 to Latrobe and take Route 982 North into Derry. School is on the right.

Duda Middle School 

Take Route 19 North turn left on Cochran Road [Mt. Lebanon High School]. Stay in left lane at Greentree Road intersection and go straight. At the next traffic light [Denny's Restaurant] make a sharp right turn. After second stop sign look for the school on the left.

East Allegheny High School

Take Lebanon Church Road past the Allegheny County Airport. This is the Yellow Belt. Follow the Yellow Belt across the Mansfield Bridge and into McKeesport. Coming into McKeesport, you will cross over the Youghiogheny River. A short distance beyond that you turn right onto Walnut Street. You are now no longer on the Yellow Belt. Follow Walnut Street (which is also Route 148) for a couple of mils to Route 48. Turn left onto Route 48. You are now on the Orange Belt. Stay on Route 48/Orange Belt for approximately 4-5 miles. The school is on the left just a few hundred yards before you get to the intersection of Route 48 and Route 30.

East Fairmont High School

Take I-79 South past Morgantown toward Fairmont. Do not exit at East Fairmont but take the next exit for Downtown Fairmont [Exit 137]. Make a right off the ramp and turn left at the next traffic light. [McDonalds and Wendy's] Go to the next traffic light and make a left turn. [Dominoes Pizza and Subway]
East Fairmont High is approximately ½ mile.

Elizabeth Forward High School

Take Route 51 South and about a mile after you cross the river in Elizabeth, get in the left lane. At the traffic light turn left onto Weigle Hill Road. [Supermarket on the right side of Rt.51] Go up the hill about 2 miles to the school.

Elizabeth Forward Junior High School

Follow the same directions and go past the high school then bear left at the Y onto Route 48. Pass the Union National Bank to another Y and bear left again. Travel past Butler's Golf Coarse about 500 feet and turn right onto Rock Run Road. The junior high is on the left.

Ellis School

The Ellis School is located in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh. Take Route 19 through the Liberty Tunnels to the Boulevard of the Allies and exit onto Forbes Ave. Travel down Forbes Avenue to Carnegie Mellon and turn left onto Morewood Avenue. At the first traffic light turn right on 5th Avenue. After you cross over Shady Avenue, the school will be 150 yard on the left. Turn into the 2nd driveway and park buses on the top near the circle.

Farrell High School

Take I-79 North and take I-80 West to exit 1 N. [Sharon Hermitage Lane Rt 18 North]. Follow Rt18 N to 1st traffic light and turn left. Go about 1.5 miles and turn left onto Roemer Road. If you go to the traffic light you went to far. The school is about 1.5 blocks up Roemer Road.

Fort Cherry High School

Take Route 19 South to King's Restaurant and turn right onto McClelland Road. Crossover I-79 and turn left at the traffic light. At the second light go straight and you will be on Route 980. Follow Route 980 to Route 50. At that stop sign turn left on Route 50 and follow to Fort Cherry Road. There is an old gas station building on the right and if you go into the town of Hickory you went to far. Turn right onto Fort Cherry road and the school will be on the right.
OR
Take Route 519 from Houston and turn right on Route 50 and you can also take Route 18 from Washington and turn right onto Route 50. Just as you leave the town of Hickory, turn left onto Fort Cherry Road.

Fox Chapel High School

Take I-79 and take the Pittsburgh exit. Follow the parkway through the Fort Pitt Tunnel and get in the left lane to get onto I-279 toward the Stadiums. Get in the right lane and take Route 28. Follow Route 28 until you get to Fox Chapel then exit #8 and make left onto Fox Chapel Road. At the first light turn right onto Field Club Road and the high school will be on the left.

Franklin Regional High School

Take the Parkway East and exit at the Murraysville Exit. Follow this road to the 7th stoplight [about 1 ½ miles after the 6th light and McDonald's should be on the left] and turn left. Go 1 block and turn left again. This should be Old Rt. 22. A couple of hundred yards on the right is the junior high and the high school sits up behind the junior high. 

Frazier High School

Take I-70 East and exit onto Route 51 south. Turn left at the light in Perryopolis [Gallatin National Bank is on the left] and look for the high school on the left.

Gateway High School

Take Lebanon Church Road past the Allegheny County Airport, down the hill and across the Mansfield Bridge. Turn left at the end of the bridge into McKeesport. In McKeesport, turn right onto Walnut Street and follow it for a couple of miles to Route 48. Turn left on Route 48 and follow it across Route 30, down a long hill into Trafford and up a long hill on the other side. The road is now called Moss Side Blvd. Go to the light at the top of the hill where you will see a marquis for Gateway High School. Turn left into the school grounds and follow the signs to the stadium.

Gateway Rehab Center

Take Route 519 past the Vo-Tech to Route 50 and turn left. About 3 miles turn right onto Route 18 toward Burgettstown and the Star Lake. Crossover Route 22/30 and bear left at the first Y then Gateway is about 5 miles.

Greensburg Central Catholic

Take I-70 East to Route 119 and go through Youngwood and stay in the left lane. When you see Arby's and Mr. Donut on the right make a left at that light. Go up the hill and bear to the right then make the first right into the school.

Greensburg Salem High School

Take I-70 East to Route 119 and go through Youngwood to Greensburg. Go four traffic lights past the Courthouse and turn right. The school will be about ¼ mile ahead.

Grove City College

Take I-79 North to exit #31, Grove City, then take Route 208 toward Grove City. Turn right at a traffic light onto Route 58 [McDonald's on the left]. Go to the 2nd traffic light and look for the entrance on the left.

Hampton High School

Take Route 28 from Pittsburgh toward Etna. Take the left lane Route 8 Exit toward Butler. After approximately 6 miles you will be at a traffic light for Harts Run Road. Go through the light for .7 miles and turn right onto McCully Road [this is road is difficult to see]. Follow this winding road for about1/2 mile and turn left at the 3rd road to the high school. - OR - Take I-79 North and exit at the Mt. Nebo Exit. Follow the Yellow Belt to Ingomar Road through North Park. Ingomar Road turns into Wildwood Road. Follow Wildwood Road until the traffic light at Route 8, then go straight through and the school will be a short distance on the right.

Harrison Middle School

Take South Park Road and go through the intersection at the South Park Entrance to the next traffic light at Broughton Road. Go straight at this intersection and pass Hills Department Store. When you start down the next hill turn right onto Windvale Street until you come to the school.

Hartwood Acres 

Take Route28 North from Pittsburgh toward Etna and then take Route 8 North to Saxonburg Blvd. [3rd traffic light]. Make a right onto Saxonburg and then take the 1st left onto Middle Road. Follow this road through the 4-way stop intersection and Hartwood Acres will be 1 ½ miles on the right.

Hempfield Area School

Take the Fort Pitt tunnels (keep in the right lane). Follow the signs for Monroeville, bearing right at the end of the bridge. Remain on the parkway (Rt. 376) east toward Monroeville. Take the Squirrel Hill tunnels and remain on the parkway following signs for the PA Turnpike. Take the PPA Turnpike and go east one exit to Exit 7. Take Rt. 30 east toward Greensburg. You will go to the 12th traffic light after you get on Rt. 30. At the 12th light you will see Greengate Mall on your left and the municipal water authority building will be on your right. Turn right at this light onto Greengate Road. Take this road to a "T". Turn right onto Rt. 136. Go 2 miles and school will be on the right.

Hickory High School

Take I-79 North to I-80 and take the Sharon Exit West. Proceed no I-80 and take the Sharon Exit Route 18 [this is approximately 15 miles]. Continue on Route 18 to Hermitage and go through the shopping areas. When you pass Shenango Shopping Center, the school is about ¼ mile on the right.

Hopewell High School

Take I-79 North to the Airport exit and go past the Airport to the Hopewell exit. After you exit turn right and go about 1 ½ miles and turn left onto Broadhead Street. Pass the Hopewell Shopping Center and turn right onto Longview Avenue. You will be able to see the school.

Independence Middle School 

Take McMurray Road toward South Hill's Village and turn right onto Bethel Church Road just past King's Restaurant. Stay on Bethel Church Road bearing right at the traffic light and go up the hill. About .6 miles turn right into the school driveway.

Indiana Area Junior and Senior High Schools

Take Route 22 East to the Indiana exit (Route 119). Make a left off the exit ramp at the stop sign. Follow 119N to Wayne Avenue (Indiana exit). Follow Wayne Avenue all the way into Indiana to the 6th light (Giant Eagle will be on your right and Pizza Hut on your left). At this light, bear to the right (be sure the Sheetz is to your left). This street curves around to the left and becomes 6th Street at the next light. Go 2 more blocks to Philadelphia Street and make a right. Go one block to 5th Street. Turn left onto 5th Street and go about 2 blocks to the junior high school on the right. Continue 2 more blocks to the high school on the left.

Karns City High School

Take 79 north to Butler Rte. 422 E. to Jefferson Street exit. Make a left and follow to 68 east toward Chicora. 68E will bear right toward East Brady. At this point stay straight-do not go toward E. Brady. High School is about 3.5 miles on the left.

Keystone Oaks High School 

Take Route 19 toward Pittsburgh and turn right onto Pioneer Avenue in Dormont. Go a few blocks and turn right onto McNeily Road. The school is on the right.

Kiski Area High School

Take the Parkway East from Pittsburgh to the Murraysville exit. Then take Route22 East for about 2 miles to Route 286. Follow Route 286 to Route 380 to the Apollo Route 66 North Exit. Follow Route 66 to the junction with Route 356 and bear left. Travel on Route 356 for about 3 miles and turn left at the stop sign. Go a short distance and turn right at the first traffic light. The school is ¼ mile on the right.

Knoch High School

Take I-79 North to the Mars Exit (at the Sheraton). Follow Route 19 North for a short distance to Route 228. Turn right (east) onto Route 228 and follow it past Mars High School to Route 8. Turn left (north) onto Route 8 (at this point it is a Route 8/Route 228 combo) and go 4 - 5 miles (along the way Route 228 will turn off to the right and you will see a sign for Saxonburg. Even though you are going to Saxonburg, this IS NOT the road you want). Staying on Route 8, you will come to Conley's Golf Course and Resort Inn on the left. When you get to Conley's, the first road on your right will be Dinnerbell Road. Turn right onto Dinnerbell Road and follow it 6 miles to Knoch High School. The school is on the right.

Langley High School

Take the Parkway toward the Fort Pitt Tunnels [Do not enter the tunnels] and exit Rt 51 to the West End Circle. Turn left and go down Carson Street toward McKees Rocks. [Do not cross the bridge] Stay in the left lane and turn left at the 1st light going through the Corliss Tunnel.

La Roche College 

Take I-79 North to Mt Nebo Exit and turn right onto Windy Rd. Travel about 2-3 miles and as soon as you go under the underpass make a left at the "T" onto Arndt Rd. [Yellow Belt] Go to the top of the hill and turn right at the stop sign onto Reis Run Rd. Travel several miles and go straight through the first light then turn into the school.

Latrobe High School 

Take I-70 to the Greensburg by-pass, which is Route 30 and turn right toward Ligonier/Latrobe. Eventually you will pass St. Vincents College on the left. Go straight through the junction with Route 981 [there is an airport on the right] and about ¾ mile turn right by the Pizza Hut then follow to the school.

Laurel Highlands High School

Take Route 51 South almost to Uniontown and turn left onto Route 119 North. Go about ½ mile and take the Gallatin Avenue Exit to the stop sign. Turn right the go to the next stop sign and turn right again onto Gallatin Avenue. Proceed to the stop sign Take I-79 North and exit at Mt. Lebo. At the "Y" and go straight up the hill to the school.

Mars High School

Take I-79 North to Route 19 exit toward Erie. At Cranberry Mall traffic light turn right onto Route 228. Go 5 miles to flashing light at the bottom of the hill. Go straight ahead to next traffic light. School is beyond this light about 2 miles on the right. 

Marshall Middle School

Take I-79 or I-279 north to the Wexford Exit #21. Turn right on PA 910 (from center lane of ramp) and go ¼ mile just past the crest of the hill. Turn left on Mingo Road and continue to the first right. Turn right onto Neely School Road and continue to the end of the road (T intersection). Turn right onto Wexford Run Road and almost immediately left into the school driveway.

McGuffey High School

Take I-79 South to I-70 West and exit I-70 at Taylorstown. Make a left at the stop sign and a right at the next "T". Take this road to Route 40 and make a left. The school is on top of the hill on the right.

McKeesport High School

Take Lebanon Church Road past the Allegheny County Airport, past Westinghouse Bettis, down the hill and across the Mansfield Bridge (sometimes called the Dravosburg Bridge). Cross the bridge and go left. Follow this road into McKeesport. In McKeesport this becomes Lysle Blvd. Stay on Lysle Blvd. all the way through McKeesport. Be careful at the Duquesne Bridge - you want to go under the bridge and not across it. Follow the signs to East McKeesport. You will come to a traffic light by a Pizza Hut. Go through that light to the next light at Hartman Street. Turn right onto Hartman Street. The school is ½ to ¾ of a mile on the right.

McMurray Elementary Schoo

From Route 19 at Donaldson's Crossroads, turn onto East McMurray Road. Follow East McMurray Road approximately 3 miles. Just after you pass the Peters Township Municipal Building and Library, you will approach the McMurray Elementary School entrance on your right. Turn right into the entrance and park in the visitors parking lot on the side of the building.

Montour High School

Take I-79 North to Exit 16 - Crafton/Moon Run/Route 60 exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Route 60. Go to the first light and turn left on Lorish. Lorish will become McKees Rocks/Steubenville Pike. Follow this to Clever Road. Turn left onto Clever. The high school is about 1 - 1 ½ miles on the left.

Moon High School

Follow interstate 79N to Exit 15. Take Routes 22/30 West to Pittsburgh International Airport. Follow 4 lane approximately 10 miles. Do not exit. Routes 22/30 will turn into Route 60 after approximately 5 miles. The airport will be on the left. A series of 3 traffic lights will parallel the airport. At the third light, turn right on Beers School Road. Follow these road 1.2 miles or 2 traffic lights. Bear right at the 2nd light. At the next light, keep right and go up the hill. Mt. Lebanon High School

Take Route 19 North to Cochran Road. Make a left onto Cochran. The school is on your left.

Mt. Pleasant Senior High

Take Route 70 East to Route 31 East, Exit 24A. Follow Route 31 East for 9.6 miles to Mt. Pleasant. At third traffic light, turn left onto N. Church Street and proceed for 2.4 miles. At this point you will be approaching an intersection with a cemetery on you left and a church on your right. Turn right at this intersection. The school is at the tope of the hill on the left. 

New Castle High School

Take I-79 North to Route 422 West (about 50 miles from B.P.). Take Route 422 West into New Castle. The first light in town is a small 5-corner intersection. Stay on Route 422 for 2 more lights. Look for the Arco AM/PM on the corner. Turn right on East Washington Street. Go 2 more lights and turn right onto East Street. Follow East Street up the hill to the end. Turn right. School is 1 block on the right. Sixty-five miles and about 1 ½ hours by car.

New Emerson Elementary School

Take Lebanon Church Road past the Allegheny County Airport. At the next light bear right to the Bettis Plant. Bear right down the hill and get in the left lane. About ¼ mile make a left at the Pizza Outlet (Skyline Drive). Follow past Paules Lookout. This road becomes Pennsylvania Avenue. New Emerson will be on the left. 

North Allegheny High School

Take 279 North to 79 North to the Wexford Exit. Make a right off the exit onto Route 910 East. Follow this approximately 2 - 21/2 miles to a stop sigh. At the stop sign, make a right. You will then go a short distance to another stop sign. At this stop sign, make a right onto Route 19 South. Follow approximately 1 ½ miles until you see McKane Ford car dealership on the right. At this traffic light, make a right. The school will be on the right.

North Catholic

Take 16th Street Bridge to the North Side. Once on the bridge go to the third light. First light is at the end of the bridge. Second light is at East Ohio Street. Third light is at Troy Hill Road. Turn right onto Troy Hill Road. The school is at the top of the hill on the left.

Northgate High School

Take I-279 North to Exit 20 - Bellevue/West View Exit. At the end of the exit ramp there is a traffic light. Turn left onto Union Avenue. Follow Union Avenue down the hill until it starts to level out. Look for the Bell Telephone Building on your right. The school will be on your left.

North Hills High School

Take I-279 North to Camp Horne Road Exit. Go right on Camp Horne Road. You will pass a golf course and come to a "Y". Bear right at the "Y". You are now on Rochester Road. You will come to a light at Route 19. Cross over Route 19 and stay on Rochester Road. The school is about 1 mile on the left.

Norwin High School and Stadium

Take Lebanon Church Road past the Allegheny County Airport, past Westinghouse Bettis, down the hill and across the Mansfield Bridge (This is the Yellow Belt.) At the end of the bridge bear left heading for McKeesport (still the Yellow Belt). After you cross the small bridge across the Youghiogheny River, go to the second light at Walnut Street. Turn right onto Walnut Street and follow it for a couple of miles to the intersection with Route 48 (you will be on Route 148). Turn left on Route 48 and follow it to the second light at Lincoln Way. Turn right onto Lincoln Way and follow it for several miles to Route 30. Turn right onto Route 30. After a short distance on Route 30, you will see Kenny Ross Chevrolet on the right. Just past Kenny Ross Chevrolet, turn right at the blinking light. At the bottom of the hill turn left and follow to the high school.

Peabody High School

Go through the Liberty Tunnels and across the Liberty Bridge go Bigelow Boulevard. Follow Bigelow Blvd. past the Bloomfield Bridge. Bigelow turns right, go a short distance to a traffic light at a "Y". Stay left at the "Y" (right goes to Oakland). Go to the first light. Turn left on Baum Blvd. Follow Baum to Negley Avenue. Turn left on Negley. Follow Negley, crossing Penn Avenue to East Liberty Blvd. Turn right and go to the second light. Turn left on North Highland Avenue. The school is on the left. 

Penn Hills High School

Take the Parkway East. Less than a mile before you get to Exit 15 (Penn Hills Exit) where old Route 22 branches off, bear left on the bypass to Monroeville. Turn right at the first exit, which will be Exit 15 on Rodi Road. Continue on Rodi Road about 1 ½ miles to the stop sign. Stay right - don't turn. At traffic light turn right on Frankstown Road. Take first right on Harvard Drive and go one curly block. Take another right on Parkridge Drive and go one block. Turn left on Garland to the high school.

Penn-Trafford

Take the Parkway East to the Murrysville Exit. You will be on Route 22. Go 4 lights and make a right at McDonalds (McDonalds will be on your left). At the "Y" bear left and cross the railroad tracks. You are on Pleasant Valley Road. At the next "Y", bear left and go 4 ½ miles to the next light at Route 130. Turn left at the light onto Route 130. The high school is about 2 miles on the right. To get to the baseball/softball fields, go to the first light past the high school (you will be in the town of Harrison City). Turn left. Go 1 ½ blocks to the stop sign and turn left. Go straight, through the municipal complex, to the ball fields. 

Pine Richland

From I-79 Warrendale Exit:  Travel East on the Red Belt (Warrendale Road).  Proceed straight across Route 19.  At the second 4-way stop, turn left (at the underpass) and go approximately 3 miles to Pine Richland High School.  The entrance is on the right.

Plum High School

Take the Parkway East to the Plum Exit. As you get off the exit you will be on the Orange Belt. Follow the Orange Belt for 6.5 miles to the school.

Quaker Valley High School

Take I-790 North and get off at the Sewickley exit and proceed on Route 65 North about 3 mils to Quaker Village Shopping Center. Turn right at the light and proceed to the stop sign. Turn left on Beaver Road. The school will be on the left (about 300 yards from the stop sign).

Quaker Valley Jr . High

Follow directions to above to Route 65. Go about 3 miles to the Country Inn (first light) and turn right then take the next right. The school is on Harbaugh Street. The back of the school is on Ohio River Blvd.

Seneca Valley

Take I-79 North to Exit 27. Turn left and proceed to the first light. Turn right - after a mile or so, you will pass a shopping plaza. About ¾ mile beyond the plaza turn right. This will take you back over I-79. Shortly after you cross I-79, you bear right at the Y. (From the right after the Plaza, the signs will indicate that you are getting back on I-79 - you would if you stayed left at the Y. Bearing right avoids the interstate.) Take the second right about 100 yards into the school.

To Campbell Field (Football/soccer)
Take Route 51 North pass Century II Mall on your right. Turn right onto Lebanon Church Road. Stay on Lebanon Church Road. You will pass the entrance to Allegheny County Airport on your left. Continue on Lebanon Church Road until you come to a Y in the Road. At the Y make a Left onto Buttermilk Hollow Road. Go to the second stop light. At the second stop light make a right onto Interboro Avenue. Continue on until you come to a stop light. At the stop light make a left onto West Run Road. Continue down West Run Road (passing Co-Go's on your right). Driveway to Campbell Field will be on your left.

Seton LaSalle

Take Route 88 North to McNeilly Road (last traffic light before Route 51). Turn left on McNeilly Road. The school is about 2 miles on the right (across from Keystone Oaks).

Sewickley Academy

Take I-79 North toe Emsworth/Sewickley exit (Rt. 65). Stay to the right toward Sewickley onto Rt. 65. Follow Rt. 65 to the Sewickley Bridge. Make a right onto Broad Street. At 2nd light make a left on Beaver Road. Go approximately 7/10th of a mile and make a left onto Academy Avenue. Entrance to the school is on the right.

Shadyside Academy

Take the Fort Pitt Tunnel to bridge to Duquesne Blvd. and cross the 9th Street bridge. Immediately at the end of the bridge turn right onto River Avenue. Go as far as you can to a stop sign. Make a quick left and go 50 yards and turn right onto Route 28. Take Route 28 to Fox Chapel Road Exit 8. Exit to the right and turn left at the bottom of the ramp. Go about 2 miles through one traffic light. The golf club will be on your right. The two red buildings on the left are the Academy. Follow the signs to the gym as this also leads to the athletic field.

Shaler Area High School

Take Route 279 North and exit at McKnight Road. North on McKnight Road to Seibert (major intersection after North Hills Village Shopping Center. Go right on Seibert to Thompson Run Road (stop sign). Right onto Thompson Run Road to Vilsack (first left). Left onto Vilsack to 4-way stop, turn right onto Anderson Road. Take Anderson Road to first stop sign and make left onto Wible Run Road. Follow Wible Run for a little over 1 mile. School driveway is on the right.

South Allegheny High School

Take Route 51 South, across the Elizabeth Bridge. Turn right at the end of the bridge and proceed to the traffic light. Turn right on River Road and proceed into Glassport. In Glassport, go the 2nd traffic light at 6th Street and turn right. Proceed to the top of the hill to a "T" intersection. Turn right on Washington Blvd. The school is ½ mile on the left.

South Fayette High School

Take Old Route 50 (Millers Run Road) out of Bridgeville. Go 50 yards past Fattigatti's and turn right. The school is on this road. 

Southmoreland High School

Take Route 70 to Route 31 the West Newton Exit. Take Route 31 toward Mt. Pleasant. Go into Mt. Pleasant to the first traffic light (large church on the far corner). Turn right on Morewood Street. Follow Morewood for about 3 miles past East Huntington Twp. Building across the railroad tracks to the stop sign. At the stop sign go straight. The school is a very short distance on the right (big red brick bldg.). Baseball field is at the school

South Park High School

At the entrance to South Park, take Corrigan Drive to the end. At the Fairgrounds make a right. Go past the police barracks and make a left by Café Milano. Go up to the top of the hill and make a right onto Ridge Road. The school is on your right.

South Side Beaver

Take Parkway West past Pittsburgh International Airport. Continue on the Beaver Valley Expressway to the Hopewell Exit. Turn left at the stop sign and stay on Route 151 for 20 minutes. School is on the left-hand side.

Steel Valley High School

Take Lebanon Church Road past the Allegheny County Airport. Bear to the left onto Buttermilk Hollow Road. At the second stop light, make a right onto Interboro Avenue. Follow Interboro. It will become Main Street. Stay on Main until you see St. Teresa's Church on the right (about 1 ½ miles from the light when you turned onto Interboro. The school is just beyond the church (It sits back and is not easy to see.)

Taylor Allderdice High School

Take Lebanon Church Road to Route 885 to Streets Run Road through Homestead to the High Level Bridge. Turn left onto the bridge. At the top of Browns Hill (3rd light) make a right onto Beechwood Blvd. Follow Beechwood which makes a sharp left turn then go a short distance and make another left turn. At the first right (Tilbury St.) make a 90 degree turn and go around an island and make a left (you really want to go straight to the school but this is a one-way street). At the stop sign at the bottom of the hill you want to turn left and go around the school to your right to enter the gym. 

Thomas Jefferson Middle School

Exit the Liberty Tunnels to West Liberty Avenue. Continue on W. Liberty Avenue to Bower Hill Road. Make a right at the light. Stay on Bower Hill Road (you will cross Cochran Road and pass Asbury Heights). Make a right onto Moffet Street. Thomas Jefferson Middle School is on the left at 21 Moffet Street.

Trinity Stadium

Take I-79 South to I 70 West. Get off at Exit 4 (W. Chestnut Street). Stay to right coming down the ramp. Go to second stoplight and turn right onto Franklin Farms Road. Go to very end of road to last stoplight and turn left onto Park Avenue. Trinity Stadium is 1.5 miles up the road on the left.

Turtle Creek High School

Take the Parkway East to Greensburg Pike Exit. At light turn left on Greensburg Pike (you will pass Woodland Hills High School). Continue about 4 mils to Tri-Boro Expressway (cross railroad tracks). There will be a light. Turn left at the light and get in the left lane. At the 4th light, turn left again to Monroeville Blvd. (white bldg. on right is East Jr. High School). Go ¼ mile and high school will be on the right. 

Valley High School

Take Route 28 Expressway North to Exit 14 - the Tarentum/New Kensington Exit. Follow the signs to New Kensington. You will go across the Tarentum Bridge. Once across the bridge, go through 4 traffic lights (you are on Route 56). About ½ mile past the 4th light, you will see the baseball fields, the stadium and the high school on the right. 

Washington High School

Take Route 19 South to I-70 West. Follow I-70 West to Jefferson Avenue, Exit 6. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right. Go a short distance to the intersection with Jefferson Avenue. Turn left on Jefferson Avenue. The school is on Jefferson on the left. 

Waynesburg High School

Take I-79 South to the Waynesburg Exit and follow Route 21 West. At the second traffic signal, turn left. The high school driveway will be about ½ mile on your right (across from the State Police Barracks). Turn right. The school is located at the top of the hill.

West Allegheny High School and Middle School

Take the Parkway West toward Pittsburgh International Airport. Exit from Parkway at Route 22-30 west to Ohio. Take 22-30 West to Imperial Exit (approximately 4 miles). Take secondary Route 978 to intersection and continue through intersection and pass wholesale tire company on left, Union National Bank on right. Make a left turn onto school property at W. Allegheny School sign. The first building is the Middle School, second building is the High School and the stadium is directly behind the High School. If going to the gym, use school entrance at the front of the building by the circle. Distance from Imperial Exit to school property is ½ mile.

West Mifflin Area School District

Take E. McMurray Rd. to South Park Rd. and turn right. Continue on South Park--cross railroad tracks at Brightwood, continue across Library Rd. & up hill now Baptist Rd.-follow to Broughton-turn right on Broughton. Continue on Broughton through Pleasant Hills. Broughton turns into Curry Hollow and then turns into Lebanon Church Rd. Take this road to Buttermilk Hollow - turn left. (Start following signs to Kennywood Park-- School is on the right about 1 mile before you get to Kennywood.) From Buttermilk Hollow turn right onto Thompson Run Rd.; right on Homestead-Duquesne Rd.; left on Homeville; right on Commonwealth Ave. The school is at 91 Commonwealth Ave.
