Third Grade Leaf work

These projects display the artistic accomplishments of our third grade students. 

In the art room, Mrs. Kitner guides students through the finer elements of blending colors to create a leaf portrait that is truly alive.

In the music room, students collaboratively write a musical composition to support their artwork.  It begins with a class writing an acrostic poem.  They choose rhythms to match each syllable of their poem and record each line of their poem as a loop.  Each line is recorded individually, but when played together they create a rich texture with interesting musical elements.

Check back soon.  While Ms. O'Brien's class is the only one which is posted right now, the other third grade work should be posted by Oct. 28.
