The Peters Township High School Music department consists of:

Wind Symphony      Concert Band       Jazz Band

Small ensembles are created for various performance requests based on student talent and availability each year, i.e. saxophone quartet, clarinet quartet, brass quintet, rhythm sections, etc.

The Music Department typically travels every other year to a national adjudication festival. All ensembles travel as a group to various places like Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, New York City, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, Va., Chicago, Washington D.C., and other locations.

PMEA Honors Band

The 2016 PMEA HONORS BAND FESTIVAL will be held at 2 locations:
 
November 12 @ Peters Township High School - 9am to 4pm rehearsal (lunch and snacks provided)
 
November 19 @ North Hills Middle School Auditorium - 9am to 4pm rehearsal (lunch and snacks provided)
 
November 20 @ North Hills Middle School Auditorium - 1pm rehearsal & 4pm concert 
 
This years conductor will be Dr. Don McKinney from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Co.
